The College of Engineering Logo

The graphic "e" in our logo represents "Engineering," of course. It also symbolizes many of the attributes we in the College ascribe to engineering as both an academic and professional pursuit. The circular form represents engineering's role in the advancement of humanity on a global scale. The registration marks in the logo represent the engineering research and design that underlie the world as we know it. The registration marks also trace the letters "UCD", our home campus. The colors also tie the College to the UC Davis campus. The tilt of the graphic represents a departure from the standards of the past and a focus on new ideas for the future.
