Wireless Networking

All Dean's Office meeting rooms have Moobilenet wireless network access for general use by staff, faculty, and students. To access the wireless network, your laptop computer must have a wireless network interface card (NIC) and you must know a valid UCD Login ID and Kerberos password.

Wired Networking

Ethernet connections are available in all rooms and are labeled. You will need to furnish your own Ethernet cable. You will also need to configure your computer for DHCP. You should configure your computer for DHCP and register your hardware Ethernet address by following the instructions at http://netaccess.ucdavis.edu/instruct.cfm.

Network Access for Visitors

If you have visitors that will require network access for short periods of time (up to 7 days) while on campus, you may also sponsor a Wireless Guest Account.
