“Alliance for Academic Excellence”

The “Alliance” serves as the nexus of like undergraduate research programs that encourage women and students from underrepresented, economically or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue advanced degrees in STEM fields. The Alliance promotes synergistic collaborations among partners that strengthen and expand outcomes.

The purpose of the Alliance Steering Committee is to:

  1. Identify funding sources such as NSF to strengthen and expand the collaborations of existing programs.
  2. Develop strategies that promote diversity and cultural competency institutionally.

Steering committee is comprised of faculty and program administrators of like undergraduate research programs.
