Keysight will provide supplemental upgrades and improvements for four additional labs in Kemper Hall to establish exemplary teaching labs for electrical and computer engineering students.

"We are excited to expand our long-standing partnership with Keysight in areas of research and education in microwave and millimeter waves to additional undergraduate instructional labs of critical need to provide even more UC Davis students access to state of the art test and measurement instrumentation," said André Knoesen, department chair of electrical engineering, UC Davis.

The equipment will provide students maximum hands-on time working with advanced communication methods and research opportunities.

Dr. Doug Baney, Keysight Corporate Director of Education who spearheaded the donation, states "Keysight's test instruments will enable students to access the same tools used in the industry. As a result, when they graduate, they'll be industry-ready and prepared to innovate and contribute to the advancement of society."
