Explore career opportunities in engineering and scientific consulting with Exponent! This session will feature a brief presentation followed by a Q&A. Hear from a recent College of Engineering alum about their experience at Exponent, learn what a career in consulting can look like and discover how your engineering degree can translate into opportunities in the consulting industry.

While the session is primarily geared toward Ph.D. students, all graduate students are welcome to attend!

Micah Swann, Ph.D., Civil and Environmental Engineering '22

Senior Associate, Environmental and Earth Sciences

Swann has expertise in hydrodynamics, surface and groundwater hydrology, aquatic chemistry and environmental fate and transport. He uses numerical modeling, field investigations and laboratory experiments to investigate complex fluid mechanics in both natural and built environments, providing insights that support environmental impact evaluations, water rights analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Aman Gill, Ph.D.

Senior Scientist, Ecological and Biological Sciences

Gill relies on broad industry experience in consulting and research and development roles across therapeutics, synthetic biology, and diagnostics companies, combined with deep expertise in functional and population genomics as a Ph.D. and postdoc in Ecology and Evolution.
