The Advanced Modeling Aeronautics Team has a long, rich history at UC Davis. The team designs and builds remote control (RC) airplanes that compete in the annual AIAA Design, Build, Fly competition.

OneLoop is a student-run engineering club competing in the European Hyperloop Week 2022. The club's goal is to develop and prototype an incredibly fast and efficient hyperloop pod with the idea of furthering the development of the technology related to the hyperloop systems.
Wildfire Resistant Housing
The research team is developing housing prototypes made of earth blocks, which are obtained by mixing soil, cement, and water. This material can make a house incredibly resistant to wildfire and other natural disasters.

ECLIPSE Rocketry is a student-run team that designs, builds and flies rockets at the NASA University Student Launch Initiative competition every year. This year's goal is to design and build a full scale rocket and develop a system to locate the rocket without using GPS.

UC Davis engineers are testing sustainable, scalable and affordable energy storage solutions that do not rely on lithium. The team is looking to build energy storage kits using latent heat storage to educate others about this new and exciting technology.

RoveCrest Student Club Support Fund
RoveCrest brings together engineering students with backgrounds in artificial intelligence, programming, robotics and biology to design and prototype a Mars rover. Our goal is to compete in the Mars Society’s 2020 University Rover Challenge, held in annually at the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah. The University Rover Challenge asks students to design and build the next generation of Mars rovers and compete with other teams in various challenges ranging from conducting science experiments to autonomous navigation.
