Picnic Day 2021

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) student chapter is hosting their annual Picnic Day alumni event over Zoom on Saturday, April 17, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

​​​​​​A biomedical engineering graduate student working late in a Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility lab loses track of time only to discover the building is now locked until morning.

​​​​​Kids will be able to follow along with the Silly Putty demonstration, which involves common household items, and enjoy being chemical engineers for the day. Then, they can sit back and marvel at the capabilities of liquid nitrogen.
