On October 16, the UC Davis College of Engineering and our AI Center in Engineering hosted the AI Innovation Showcase and Prem Jain Symposium, welcoming more than 100 industry partners, alumni, faculty and students.

The session concluded with remarks from George Baxter, chief innovation and economic development officer for UC Davis, who emphasized the importance of industry partnerships in fostering innovation and collaboration.
Industry and academic leaders explored AI energy consumption and data centers, integrating AI and robotics, translating research from the lab to commercial solutions, and more.
