Peace Corps Volunteers put their purpose, passion, and skills to work in partnership with host communities in nearly 60 countries. Volunteers live and work side-by-side with community members to partner on locally prioritized projects in the areas of education, health, environment, agriculture, economic community development, and youth development. Serving abroad is an opportunity to gain valuable professional skills that will prepare you for the next step in your professional journey. Volunteers are completely covered for travel, food, lodging, medical and dental. Paid Volunteers accrue two days of vacation time per month. They also receive a 10k bonus at the end of their Service, paid graduate school benefits and Federal Government benefits.
