Attend Research Catalyst Lunches, a new event series designed to bring faculty and researchers together across departments and programs to learn about work happening across the College of Engineering, exchange emerging ideas and discover opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
This lunch, Engineering Across Boundaries: From Biology to Electronics, will feature faculty flash talks by Nick Pant and Priya Shah, followed by a discussion of how interdisciplinary approaches are unlocking new discoveries in biology and advanced materials.
Pant will present "Materials science in the age of AI and computation," and Shah will present "Harder, better, faster, stronger: integrating biology and engineering to drive discovery."
Lunch will be available beginning at 11:45 a.m., with the program starting at approximately 12:10 p.m.
