Co-sponsored by the Center for Healthcare Policy and Research, Clinical Translational Science Center, Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and Healthy Aging in a Digital World, this session will highlight ongoing UC Davis work on an AI-enabled approach to Type 1 diabetes management.
Sam King, professor of computer science and director of CITIRIS at UC Davis, and Stephanie Crossen, associate professor in the division of pediatric endocrinology, will discuss how predictive models can be integrated with existing glucose monitoring tools, along with practical considerations for research, data use, and clinical implementation.
