Explore how engineering, technology and medicine come together to save lives.

In this interactive workshop, high school students will step into the world of biomedical engineering by creating and exploring 3D anatomical models, the same tools used by doctors and engineers to plan surgeries and design medical devices.

Students will learn from the engineering staff at UC Davis Tech Foundry and expert guest speakers about key topics, including:

  • Medical modeling and the future of medicine
  • Computer-aided design (CAD) and design thinking
  • 3D scanning and printing

Two offerings: July 20-24 and July 27-31

Hosted by the UC Davis Department of Biomedical Engineering in partnership with Gowell at Tech Foundry at Aggie Square, a Sacramento-based innovation hub
