MR Imaging of Cerebrospinal Fuid Dynamics

Dr. Qiuting Wen, Indiana University School of Medicine

Bio:

Dr. Qiuting Wen (pronounced chiu-ting) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. from the UCSF–UC Berkeley Joint Program in Bioengineering. Dr. Wen developed dynamic diffusion-weighted imaging (dynDWI) to characterize human brain pulsations and CSF dynamics, contributing to the investigation of brain physiology and the glymphatic waste clearance system. Her research integrates multimodal imaging approaches to better understand the physiological drivers of CSF circulation and how their dysfunction may relate to aging, Alzheimer’s disease, and CSF disorders.
