Speaker Anthony Giammona is a technical leader in the firm and has helped lead the execution of a number of NYA’s most significant and technically challenging projects. He is a leader in advanced technologies, such as Performance-Based Seismic Design (PBSD), base isolation, fluid viscous dampers, and resiliency design. He has authored a number of publications on these subjects. He has lead the successful execution of many of the firm's most high-profile performance-based engineering projects, including The New Stanford Hospital, UCSF's New Hospital Parnassus Heights, Vallco Town Center (The Rise), and the Visitor Center at Apple's world headquarters in Cupertino, California.
