Speaker Francisco Parisi is the Executive Principal at Rutherford & Chekene. Francisco is widely recognized for designing award-winning science and technology, healthcare, and higher education facilities. He has managed several of R+C's acute care and OSHPD 1 facilities, such as the new UCDH 48X SASC, UCSF Block 34 Clinical Building, UCSF Precision Cancer Medicine Building, Mills Peninsula Hospital, and Laguna Honda Replacement Hospital. Francisco's portfolio also includes the renovation of the Sonoma State Stevenson Hall and the new iconic UC Law San 198 Academe building for UC Law SF, as well as new science and research facilities at NASA and CSU Chico. He currently serves as project manager for the SFSU West Campus Green Housing +Dining/Health Center, and academic buildings for CSU Humboldt. Francisco has co-authored technical documents regarding testing protocol for wood frame structures and application of base isolation systems in buildings.
