The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is actively engaged in fostering collaborative research through the College of Engineering Next-Level Research Initiative. As part of this initiative, we are excited to announce the upcoming "Workshop on Electronic/Photonic Materials and Devices," scheduled for September 25th, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm in Kemper Hall 1003. This event will feature invited speakers representing various departments at UC Davis and experts from national laboratories. The workshop will revolve around materials/device research focusing on i) energy and sustainability, ii) biomedical applications, and iii) quantum sciences. A core goal of the workshop will be to build multi-PI teams for future multidisciplinary research programs such as NSF MRSECs. We are proud to have the support of the College of Engineering in organizing this event.
