The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is actively engaged in fostering collaborative research through the College of Engineering Next-Level Research Initiative. As part of this initiative, we are excited to announce the upcoming “Workshop on Materials Under Extreme Conditions and Advanced Manufacturing”, scheduled for September 21st 9:30-4:00 pm in Kemper Hall 1003. The event will feature invited speakers representing various department at UC Davis and experts from national laboratories. A core goal of the workshop will be to build a multi-PI team for future multidisciplinary research programs from funding sources such as: MURIs, the multicampus research program awards, NSF MRSECs, and more.
