The program supports individuals who demonstrate a capacity for leadership in shaping a more responsive, informed, and community-connected engineering profession.

Eligible applicants may have experiences such as:

  • Navigating academic, social, or financial challenges
  • Contributing through service or mentoring that supports communities with limited access to academic resources
  • Pursuing research questions that engage broader societal needs and real-world applications

To support access to graduate education, the College offers a limited number of graduate application fee fellowships (valued at $135) to selected domestic applicants for Fall 2025 admission. These fellowships are fully funded by the UC Davis College of Engineering. Awards will be distributed through January 15, 2025.
