Keisuke Nakagawa
Keisuke Nakagawa is Director of Innovation at UC Davis Health leading the digital health innovation hub, Digital CoLab. He also leads the UC Davis Health Cloud Innovation Center for Digital Health Equity as its Executive Director. As a physician and entrepreneur, his mission is to make healthcare more accessible and equitable by finding collaborative paths to innovating. He has launched startups, worked on major legislation in Congress including the Affordable Care Act and the HITECH Act, and consulted for pharmaceutical companies, payors, and institutional investors. He has published on a wide range of topics from autonomous robotic surgery, tissue engineering, health policy and social media use among physicians. Dr. Nakagawa received his B.A. from Cornell University and M.D. from UC Davis School of Medicine. He also received a Fulbright Fellowship to Bangladesh from 2004-2005 and served two terms on the National Board of Directors of Fulbright Association.
