You’ll meet the program advisor in your department at UC Davis Orientation. You will find out more then about the advising program and who your faculty advisor is or how to choose one.
Faculty advisors can help with:
- Career goals
- Choice of major
- Field of specialization
- Elective courses
- Scheduling an advising appointment
All students are able to book appointments with advisors in the EUO using appointments.ucdavis.edu and selecting Engineering Undergraduate Office. You can select the advisor you want to meet with by using the drop down at the top of the calendar.If you have a major advising hold please make your appointment with your major advisor. Details regarding whom you should meet with to release your hold can be found in Schedule Builder.
- Express Advising
Express advising is meant to be a tool to access your advisors for quick and urgent questions.
We will be offering express advising via Zoom Monday through Friday from 1:00pm-4:00pm. To meet with an advisor, follow this link – https://ucdaviscoe.zoom.us/my/expressadvising. Advisors will be meeting on a one-on-one, first-come, first-serve basis. You will be placed in a waiting room and advisors will get to students in the order in which they arrived in the waiting room.
- Peer Express Advising
In addition to the professional staff advisors, a team of academic peer advisors—current engineering students themselves—are also available to advise you on academic and administrative issues.
The Engineering Undergraduate Office Peer Advisors will be available starting Fall 2020, hours to be announced.
