You’ll meet the program advisor in your department at UC Davis Orientation. You will find out more then about the advising program and who your faculty advisor is or how to choose one.
Faculty advisors can help with:
- Career goals
- Choice of major
- Field of specialization
- Elective courses
- Scheduling an advising appointment
If you have a major advising hold please make your appointment with your major advisor at appointments.ucdavis.edu. Details regarding whom you should meet with to release your hold can be found in Schedule Builder.
- Express Advising
Express advising is meant to be a tool to access advisors for quick and urgent questions.
Express advising is available via Zoom Monday through Friday from 1:00pm-4:00pm. To meet with an advisor, follow this link – https://ucdaviscoe.zoom.us/my/expressadvising.
Peer Advisors will be hosting express advising on a one-on-one, first-come, first-serve basis. You will be placed in a waiting room and advisors will get to students in the order in which they arrived in the waiting room. If your question requires a meeting with a professional advisor, the peer advisors will get you connected via Zoom.
