The University of California, Davis, is celebrating the success of the Expect Greater: From UC Davis, for the World fundraising campaign, which raised over $2.25 billion for student support, health research and care, sustainability, innovation and more.
Alumni, industry partners and supporters demonstrated their commitment to the college's Next Level strategic vision for engineering a better world for all by investing in successful student outcomes, state-of-the-art infrastructure, innovative research and faculty expertise and flexible support for the college and its eight academic departments. received by 5,552 donors, half of which were new donors

made by current and former faculty and staff who contributed nearly $10 million
$131.55 million raised
which surpassed the initial fundraising goal by $21 million
$26 million in capital projects
including two new facilities and major renovations to labs in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
$24 million in gifts and grants
to 92 engineering faculty members to advance innovative research
$20.2 million in new scholarship funds
including the creation of more than 110 new scholarships
$12 million in contributions
to excellence funds, which equip leaders with the flexibility to meet new challenges and respond strategically to change
