Dr. Che-Ming Jack Hu specializes in the development of novel therapeutic nanomaterials and biomimetic materials with a focus on clinical translation. He currently serves as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica, in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Hu's research interests encompass drug delivery, gene delivery, vaccine development, and immunotherapy, and he is particularly inspired by the promise of cell-inspired materials engineering to tackle fundamental biological problems. Pioneering works by Dr. Hu include cell membrane cloaked nanoparticles, cellular polymerization technology, and hollow polymeric nanoshells, each of which has offered versatile utilities in various drug delivery and biomedical applications.
