2023 Give Day Impact on the College of Engineering
Engineering student clubs and teams, departments and the Dean's Office featured their latest and greatest for alumni and friends at the 109th Picnic Day on April 15, 2023.
On Give Day, an online fundraising drive held in conjunction with Picnic Day, 388 donors contributed over $160,000 to the College of Engineering.
Because of these gifts:
- Engineers Without Borders traveled internationally to partner communities to provide clean water and sanitation.
- UC Davis’ OneLoop team competed at European Hyperloop Week.
- Aggie Propulsion Lab has the resources they need to build the first liquid propellant rocket engine at UC Davis.
- $40,035 in challenge funds were unlocked and eight department excellence funds can support their students and clubs.
- We showed the rest of the university just how awesome Aggie Engineers are by finishing #1 in the Battle of the Colleges for the third year in a row.
- And Aggie Engineers have more and better opportunities to engineer a better world for all!
