Amit Kanvinde is responsible for the overall area of academic personnel and planning. In this role, he oversees academic merits and promotions for the College of Engineering. He is also responsible for new appointments and reappointments of academic personnel. Finally, he oversees planning and search processes for faculty hiring.
Amit Kanvinde, professor of civil and environmental engineering, will serve as the College of Engineering’s next associate dean for academic personnel and planning. His appointment begins July 1, 2023 and is effective until June 30, 2028.
Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Jeannie Darby has been appointed the new associate dean for academic personnel and planning for the next academic year, effective September 13, 2022.
