At the inaugural AI Innovation Showcase and Prem Jain Symposium, hosted by the UC Davis College of Engineering, faculty, students, alumni and industry partners explored cutting-edge research, startups and programs, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to advance AI.
The University of California, Davis, Departments of Materials Science and Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering will soon be led by new incoming chairs.
Chris Cappa oversees the college's graduate programs and online education. He also serves as chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
