Jasmine Dilworth

Student Spotlight: Jasmine Dilworth

This spotlight is part of our 2022 Black Futures Month feature.

Jasmine Dilworth (she/her) is a third-year biomedical engineering major. She is into fitness and likes to do activities that connect with her inner child. She has recently signed up for horseback riding at the Equestrian Center! Her favorite engineering course at UC Davis is BIM 1, which taught her all the possible pathways she can take with her major, in addition to meeting faculty.

Throughout her time at UC Davis, Jasmine has experienced what she describes as a lot of self-discovery and growth. She has experienced a profound difference in herself since she first started college, and she has made connections that have helped her grow personally and give her more confidence to go after what she sets her mind to. Additionally, she has learned the importance of prioritizing her mental health and finding her passions through campus organizations such as the Black Engineers Association. Through her experiences in the College of Engineering, Jasmine knows she is never alone and that there are always resources available for nearly every situation.
